About BSBB

The Be Sensitive, Be Brave (BSBB) trainings infuse culture and diversity throughout foundational workshops on suicide prevention and mental health. Community members learn to act as eyes and ears for mental health and suicidal distress, and to connect individuals to help or support.

BSBB workshops are 2-hour interactive workshops that can be delivered or taken online or in person, by an experienced and caring community trainer. They are designed for helpers or all ages: children, adolescents, adults, & older adults.

Become a BSBB Trainer

Interested in offering a culturally-infused BSBB workshop in your community as a trainer?

The BSBB Trainer Academy is your gateway to certification or re-certification as a trainer for BSBB for Suicide Prevention, Mental Health, or both. The Academy workshops can be completed from home, and consist of a combination of live didactics online (self-paced online options coming soon!) and self-study of the workshop materials and videos.
